I'm gratified to have worked with a great group of nurse leaders for most of the past year on a special project. Our goal: a first-of-its-kind display in the Tampa Bay History Center. Our exhibit features five historic nurses in the Tampa Bay area, and highlights the important contributions that these nurses made to the health of Floridians. Attached are a couple of my photos of the display. They don't do it justice. I hope that our efforts will inspire more nurses to recognize our nursing heroes. They exist in every practice setting and specialization.
